Freight Tiger is a B2B SaaS TMS platform covering end-to-end freight management, from dispatch planning and indent bidding to track & trace and freight invoicing, for both FTL and PTL road freight. As we scaled our planning product, we encountered a class of problems that required deep Operations Research expertise that we did not have in-house at the time. These included building a 3D load builder that handled volumetric and weight constraints across heterogeneous truck configurations, optimising dispatches to minimise cost or transit time, and handling complex real-world constraints such as time windows, material compatibility, and multi-stop routing.
